LiquidCells

LiquidCell is the industry's first standard cell library solution to bring the rigorous DFM and Yield requirements of 32nm to current production nanometer nodes. Rapid Bridges's LiquidCell library reduces the effects of On Chip Variation (OCV), process variation and defect density which translates directly to lower silicon costs. LiquidCell is comprised of an 700+ element metal programmable standard cell library supporting single and mixed Vt solutions.

LiquidCell architecture consists of a Sea of Transistors base that is programmed with metal only (metal 1 & 2) logic cells utilizing industry standard EDA tools and flows. Designs requirements of 750Mhz and higher with 24 levels of logic are achievable.

Applications

Our revolutionary technology enables users to target designs using this rich cell library, enabling digital content customization and transformation into different products. The metal configurable standard cell library enables designers to make trivial or extensive design changes to their current product(s) without the associated high tooling cost. Customers can take advantage of all Rapid Bridge foundation IPs (IO&PHY, Std Cell and memory) to address several similar SoCs with one common base platform.
